Invita is Recertified for PCI DSS Compliance

Invita Company B.S.C. (Closed), a bahrain-based leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services provider for the region, has completed the re-certification for PCI-DSS compliance certification v3.2.1. Invita has been the first Third Party BPO in Bahrain to receive the PCI DSS Certification in 2017, in addition to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification.

 PCI-DSS stands for Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standards, developed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, consisting of best practices for handling Customer Credit & Debit Card transactions, provides an additional measure for protection for organization as well as customers against the ever evolving and increasing number of malicious IT security attacks and other data security risks. Thus PCI-DSS compliance has become a key best practice in the banking & finance industry as well as merchants across the world.

PCI-DSS has been a mandatory requirement for all banks and financial institution in Bahrain since 2016, as the data protection measures employed under PCI-DSS helps lower the risk of data exposure and fraudulent transactions.
